Since Android hit the market, Apple and Google have been locked in a power struggle. Apple and Google were once friends, but as is often the case in a battle, many are concerned with their own status.
Apple strikes a blow against Google. But why?
The goal is: to become the king of smartphones and tablets.
The internet is important for almost everyone. Your social life, the latest news, and online shopping. But internet usage is shifting from desktop computers to mobile devices and is becoming increasingly specialized and popular.
iPhone or Android?
The iPhone, used by a great many people, is an easy-to-use phone and remains virtually the same in design. When you are within the Apple system, it is easy to stick with Apple; you download everything via iTunes and have everything at hand. Android users can customize as much as they want, and they can download everything from the Market. Android users are often 'IT-minded', whereas among iPhone users, these are more likely to be people with creative professions such as design or advertising.
Google or Apple?
For many people, it is the convenience of the Apple operating system that leads them to choose a sleek design. Not everyone wants to discover the openness of web culture when they have been accustomed to a sleek design all this time. “The iPhone is simply something easy and accessible that works; many people want that.” Nevertheless, Google believes it made the right choice with a new type of system using Flash. “iPhone users will eventually discover how nice it is to work with Flash and Android. We arrived at the perfect moment to develop a system for business interests.”
