Similarly, the hamburger has made its entrance into the digital world. You won't easily notice it in daily life, but when you start paying attention, the hamburger appears more often than you might think.
A menu on a website is often well-filled with various pages. On a desktop or laptop, displaying this is usually not a problem. A menu can therefore be shown well and clearly on these devices. However, it becomes a different story when one wants to use a menu on a smartphone.
This is where a tasty, healthy, but also convenient hamburger comes into play. The well-known icon of three small lines almost always appears on a website when viewed on a smartphone. One advantage of this is that menu items no longer need to be displayed by default on a mobile website.
