More and more companies are choosing to use their own images on their websites. This allows them to showcase their own company and/or product in the way they prefer or intend. Furthermore, using their own employees as a point of contact for the customer on a website performs better than a stock photo.
A customer prefers seeing the face or company they know from the website during a visit. This creates a sense of trust in the company sooner and makes them more likely to make a purchase.
As a photographer, it is wonderful to conceive and create these images together with the client. This year, I can safely say that this has really taken off, partly because the final result has exceeded the client's expectations time and again.
Sunny photos in less-than-ideal weather, or colorful atmospheric photos that match the product or service the client wants to convey via her website.
This has already brought me a number of adventures abroad this year, and there are more in store. A comment from a customer: “My product is very touched, most certainly also by your photos! I have received a lot of positive reactions. I will get in touch in a while, because I would like to take some photos on location in France.".
In addition to these international adventures, there have also been beautiful shoots in the Netherlands where the client was initially concerned about how to photograph their product beautifully to position it effectively in the market. However, through creativity with lighting, we always manage to surprise the client with stunning images.
You know the slogan: “A picture is worth a thousand words.” And that certainly applies to websites!
